Killer Clowns from Outer Space is definitely worth a 90 minutes of your time and a full bowl. It's playing on my favorite source for schlocky horror movies, Fearnet.com.

Two movies you need to watch:
Night of the Lepus
Death Bed: The Bed that Eats
Enjoy.

I'm mildly stoned, and working.
Fridays always kinda suck for me. It's auction day, and everyone wants their stuff on a truck by the closing of business.

In the grand scheme of things? I think so.

If stopped abusing the viagra, you'd have a full one.

OK, so this is as good a place as any to ask... I'm looking for a movie I watched as a kid in the drive-in... we're talking probably around 1962-66... and it was about a nuclear war, or some sort of escape of nuclear radiation, which caused all the insects to become HUGE... monster bees, spiders, etc.... wonderful grade-b stuff... and for the life of me I *cannot* think of the name of the movie.
Help.. please... anybody???

The movie Them was about giant ants that crawled out of the atomic test site in Nevada.

That film was called Them!

Sailor:
Them! has irradiated giant ants--but only ants.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047573/
There's a movie called The Deadly Mantis about an irradiated you-guessed-it. For some reason this one scared the bejabbers out of me when I was a lass.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050294/
Mysterious Island is supposedly based on a Jules Verne story and features ginormous critters of many kinds. But there's no atomic radiation and I don't remember any bees. There is, however, a giant chicken, which is supposed to be terrifying but fails grandly.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055207/
And then there's Tarantula, which is about a--well, you're not retarded, are you?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048696/
My favorite "atomic radiation!" plotline features no giant insects of any kind. I give you: The Horror of Party Beach. It makes me love Western civilization.

Somebody's seen mst3k... And, lest we forget, there's the Amazing Colossal Man, War of the Colossal Beast, and Beginning of the End.

Indeed I have, but I've never seen any of the movies cited get the MST3K treatment. They were Saturday Night Shock Show staples when I was a kid.

Thanks, guys - I do appreciate the effort. However, the movie I remember distinctly had humans being inside of a *huge* beehive with the bees crawling all over. And I remember huge spiders, too, along with other large insects. I don't remember anything else being big - like mice or anything.
And, no, I wasn't in withdrawal.

A sufficient number of beers into the evening, and decent but not thrilling swing jazz on the radio. OK background music.
I haven't been near weed for a decade. Just as well. Last time, I got the fear.

I've been watching MST3K for like a month straight now, just about every night before I go to bed. Netflix does have it and today I should be getting The Girl in the Gold Boots. There is a website that has all the seasons and itunes has some episodes as well. Fucking hilarious show. Though I like Mike better than the first guy.

Blasphemy. I used to have all of them on tape, and I'd watch them before I went to bed--a kind of a white noise thing to help me sleep. I recently upgraded and got every episode ever on DVD off a torrent. It's 70 dvds, if you're interested. What they have on Netflix are the few episodes that Rhino released; they're not even the best ones.
