You could go to jail if you fail to empty your bong. (Of course this is a news story from Fox, so it is probably a lie)

reminds me of the police vacuuming rugs in the 60's and claiming marijuana found ingrained counted as a "stash"... how many people went to jail for the previous tenants drug use? It makes one wonder.

Worse than that was the Coast Guard's "Zero Tolerance" policy. A roach found in the ashtray of your yacht and it was confiscated. As it happens the Commandant of the Coast Guard who instituted that policy was the Captain of a ship I served on before he was promoted to Admiral. He also presided over my Captain's mast (a summary trial) for smoking grass. The cocksucker was a Morman who didn't drink his hot chocolate too hot because that was a sin. Although he had zero evidence against me, you can imagine what chance I had. Well, I was guilty, so I suppose I shouldn't bitch too much.

the case of Sara Peck. Items seized during a search of her Rice County home in 2007 included a glass bong — a type of water pipe often used to smoke drugs — that contained 37 grams — about 2 1/2 tablespoons — of a liquid that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
Silly Sara. You don’t smoke meth through a bong.
a narcotics officer had testified that drug users sometimes keep bong water to drink or inject later.
WTF?

Yes you can smoke meth out of a bong. They make special bongs for it.
I have never heard of anybody skanky enough to keep the bong water.

Keeping it could be an accident, but injecting it? Holy shit!

Most of the stuff I remember was methamphetamine salt. So unless you got vegetable oil in your bong, some of your meth is going to wind up in the water. Same goes for coke that hasn't been turned into a base. I don’t know if crystal is different, but I found this on Wikipedia:
Very little research has focused on suppository or anal insertion as a method, and anecdotal evidence of its effects is infrequently discussed, possibly due to social taboos in many cultures regarding the anus. This method is often known within methamphetamine communities as a "butt rocket", "potato thumping", "turkey basting", a "booty bump", "keistering", "plugging", "shafting", "bumming", or "shelving" (vaginal) and is anecdotally reported to increase sexual pleasure while the effects of the drug last longer.

25 grams of bong water is about what would be left after you dumped it, but it hadn't dried out yet.

So you are saying that after you dump it you almost have an ounce left in it? really?

Less than a shot glass? Yeah. I guess if I rolled it around for a while and jumped around the room like a deranged ape, I could shake the last drop of dew from the lilly, but only I would find that amusing at that point.
Nowadays I don't use it much any more, I have gone 99 44/100ths percent pure vape.

I watered my houseplants with bong water during my Stoned Age. They were very happy plants and my friends would always compliment me on how beautiful and healthy they looked.

IIRC, when the feds bust LSD chemists they count the weight of their reagents as well as all the substrate (blotter paper, sugar cubes...) found.
As for watering your plants with bongwater, it sounds like a good idea, but I'd keep an eye on the pH of the soil. You might have to toss a little baking soda in every now and then.

and there it is...everything about Phreddy revealed in one simple post. Our fearsome right-wing pundit, the master of all things Bushian was busted to deck ape in the Coast Guard because he couldn't grasp the concept of rules. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a Big Chicken Dinner at some point also.
Hey Phred-face, when you sign the fucking contract you agree to abide by and be administered by the UCMJ, it wasn't a summary trial, it was a disciplinary procedure. Don't whine about being disciplined in the military, that's part of the package.
The coast guard of all places, how pathetic....

Nahh, it's OK Phreddy. The story was actually by AP. Just don't infringe on their copyrights.
