Also called "Muttrimony." I'm still not entirely sure why, but seeing articles like this one makes me apoplectic. Perhaps it's because the same representatives of the clergy have such difficulty wedding two entirely human males or females.

I have relatives with a pair of lesbian dogs that are constantly humping each other. It’s clear these dogs love each other very much. Because pet ceremonies involve human marriage licenses, I doubt that a license could be obtained for “Gertrude*” and “Alice*” because the state won’t issue one filled in with two female names.
