I read this and think to myself, "Gee, this eternal dweeb is only a couple years older than I am, but he gets on TV, is invited back to his HS to speak, and obviously gets away with saying shit they probably wouldn't let the kids espouse, presuming they have their own rinky-dink little paper." It's an odd mix of "joy in obscurity" and nostalgie de la boue (a French term that practically defines High Street).
