How much of that boils down to Trump specifically or the Republicans in general remains to be seen.

They've had every opportunity to impeach Donald and even bring charges (or at least finish sentencing him).  The Democratic party is almost worthless but the GOP are our sworn enemies.

This either ends in everyone bending the knee to the orange dictator or bloodshed. We'll know which at the mid-terms if they lose control of the House or the Senate we'll see how hard they can Fascist.  Donald's already going after Antifa, which is an idea and not a fictitious entity, by branding "it" as a Domestic Terrorism Network.
