I’m not surprised. Back many years ago when I was an Internet noob with an AOL account, I got an IM from someone claiming to be a fifteen year old blonde girl who loved to fuck. Best of all, she was in the same town as me and wanted to get together! I think the cops must outnumber the pedophiles by a 3-1 ratio.

aspiring sexual predator James Daniel started an online conversation with Amanda_13, a fake 13-year-old girl voiced by Sergeant Richard Howard of the Porter County Sheriff’s Department.

The awesome thing here, to me, is that hommie got 17 years in prison for talking to cops.

Homie got 17 years for thinking about fucking a kid.
Almost makes one think legality is like Shroedinger's box.
"It's only illegal if you get caught."

I have no problem with that. He didn't just think about it, he acted on it by corresponding with this person. What's the difference between that and soliciting for a hit man to shoot someone else in the head? The act doesn't have to happen for it to be a crime. Fucking pedos are frequent fliers too, statistically.
