Man invents "humane" lobster electric chair

The animal rights group PETA bought two of the lobster devices and paid for Mr. Buckhaven and his wife to fly to the Arizona event last Saturday to demonstrate the technology.

Unfortunately, the courier service lost the two machines and the animal rights people had to look the other way as volunteers killed hundreds of lobster in boiling water for hungry supporters of the resource centre.

The inventor [was] invited by animal rights activists to a big lobster dinner fundraiser last week, sponsored by the non-profit Child and Family Resource Centre in Tucson, Ariz.

It sounds like the Centre was doing the boiling, not PETA.

If I hadn't of started the nonprofit with the mission that it has I would have started an animal rights group because PETA is the worst fuck up organization there ever was. I don't get it? They just have one fuck up after the other. Yet, they are one of the largest animal rights groups and everyone knows of them.

God damn it.

Ugh, GOD DAMN IT they are just terrible! One of the (many terrible) videos they have out there refers to tuna fish as "tuna flesh"  give me a fucking break. Peta has probably turned so many people off to the idea of going vegetarian than anything else!

Sure, if you like fighting your food to get past the shell and don't mind smelling like low tide when you're through. They're scavenging sea roaches, but meaner and dumber. And they molt, like snakes, their roe sucks donkey turds and more often than not, they're tiny, hardly worth the effort. 1 pound chicken lobsters. Every year's catch diminishes the existing stock by 75%, or some such horror.

We're they're only predators, so the vermin they'd normally lunch multiply and their normal life span diminishes 100 years. For what? A flavorless flesh, only edible with pots of drawn thrombosis? And oh, try eating one that dies, its meat turned runny, before it's cooked. Pepto won't help. Yeah, babe, hug that porcelain. I trapped and snorkeled these beasts for years, frozen fish heads for bait. Trust me, they get boring fast.

Pardon me if I've delivered this rant before.

Thank you Choad.  I hate that shit.  The only sea food that I have ever gotten sick on, and as a kid, I used to go out to see the bastards pulled up in traps.  Highly amusing for a 4 year old, oh yeah.  I hugged the porcelain or something like 8 hours.  I finally threw up a little pink ring, I leave it to your imagination what that was.  Give me the other scavenger meat, crab.   I prefer shell fish, famine foods, welks and the like.

I have a weakness for softshell (longneck) clams. I scouted a cheery mudflat that fed me as kid just last week and it's prime. Licencing is steep, and fines are fierce, though, so next full moon, it's oink city... Unless the harbor master still lurks this site.

I'm reading Cod right now and the entire time I am wanting to try salted cod. Lobster is gross, but I do love crab legs.

If you want to eat Cod, find a Portuguese restaurant. They cook bacalao better than anyone.
