True that, there definately seems to be a general lack of humility in the human condition. Unfortunately those that think more highly of their profits want you to ignore our power over the planet to your own peril.

Ah yes, an inconvenient truth indeed. Agreed, we do have the power to foul our nest and we've been pretty good at it. I just can't abide the whacko punitive measures now being adopted to deal with a warming climate. In California the legislature is actually requiring the entire state to revert back to a 1980 "carbon footprint". This makes everyone feel so progressive and righteous until the electric power goes off and no more homes are allowed to be built. All because a group of scientists clamouring for government grants have invented the carbon dioxide=global warming effect.

Human beings can foul our nest all we want. I don't think much damage is being done to the planet.
Earth does not need to be saved. It is doing fine.
