I know that Alan Abel is a hat in here somewhere... I think it's in the picture thread but there's no way I'm wading through 61 pages to prove it.

But Jean Shepherd is definitely one of my favs... I used to read his column in Road & Track, and of course he wrote the glorious classic "Christmas Story" movie.

Well, I'd hardly call previous mention of Abel on an unrelated subject an asshat.  We do need to work on helping you become obsessed over unimportant things.  Maybe a nice meth habit would help?
