Most toilets on Indian trains are filthy chutes emptying directly onto the tracks.
You got quite a view between your legs as train toilets flushed to the tracks in this country too, until recently... even on the New Haven line into Grand Central. I thwarted a friend's pot bust once and recovered the stinky stash later.

Yeah that was the same on the Main Line and the routes up fom Philly to Penn Station. Especially gross discovery after having played on the tracks as a kid smushing pennies. One of our greatest scores as young hooligans was a full set of conductors regalia. We used the punch and ticket books liberally, but none of us ever had the balls, or sufficient lack of common sense, to use the master keys to start up a train and drive it out of its overnight siding.
