Goddamn, Whiz...does the song " Don't Touch Me There" ring a bell?  Jane co-wrote that with Ron Nagle/Scott Matthews for the Tubes... Pearl Harbour was an army brat raised in Germany.  She later moved to SF and did private (strip-tease) parties and various gigs. (As Pearl E. Gates) When I saw her perform with Leila and the Snakes (opening for the Tubes) in 1978, she looked like she was over it. Afterwards she formed Pearl Harbour and The Explosions. She was/is one of the original punk "Betty Page" types... a very sweet woman. Soon after the Explosions hit big on 415 records with "You Got It".  The version here is a kinda wimpy, it's from the major label...That was the b-side to the 415 release...the hit-side being "Drivin"...She then married Paul Simenon of the Clash, divorced him and came back to SF. Look 'em up, you'll be glad you did.  Yes, Pearl is still around...
